Frédéric Chopin
Etudes Op. 10
Etudes Op. 25
Chopin’s Etudes is a collection of spectacular musical revelations composed by Frédéric Chopin between 1829 and 1836.
It is the most important collection of his compositions and a key landmark in the classical piano literature, each etude being a piano touchstone in its own right.
It is universal music, yet its themes can be seen to be interwoven with the failed Polish uprising of 1830, which resulted in the forced deportation of 45,000 Polish families to Russia.
