Eero Saunamäki is a pioneer of recorder performance, as well as a saxophonist and singer. He is a versatile concert artist, Executive Director of the BRQ Vantaa Festival (specialising in early music), and one of its artistic planners. He also teaches at the Sibelius Academy of the University of the Arts Helsinki.

Saunamäki has performed as a soloist with more than ten symphony orchestras on both recorder and saxophone, led orchestras, and collaborated with numerous top conductors. His repertoire includes dozens of commissioned works and premieres, including six concertos. Kalevi Aho’s recorder concerto, recorded by Saunamäki for BIS, is among these.

An active chamber musician, Saunamäki has performed widely in Finland and internationally. In the Aava saxophone quartet he plays baritone saxophone, and he also collaborates extensively with other musicians both in early and contemporary music. In rhythm music ensembles, he performs as both singer and instrumentalist.

Saunamäki’s recorder playing can be heard not only on recordings but also in an Oscar-nominated film, video and mobile games, as ambience on a cruise ship, and on his YouTube channel. In addition to the Sibelius Academy, he has taught at institutions such as the Mozarteum in Salzburg, the Hong Kong Schools Music Festival, Tampere University of Applied Sciences, and the University of Jyväskylä.

He studied at the Sibelius Academy, the Pop & Jazz Conservatory, and the University of Helsinki. His career has been supported by numerous foundations, and since 2024 he has worked as a freelance artist supported by grants from Taike and the Finnish Cultural Foundation.

Born in Mogilev, Kirill Kozlovski has studied piano at the Belarusian Academy of Music’s Lyceum, the Sibelius Academy and the Vienna University of Music. He studied baroque music and harpsichord at the Novia University of Applied Sciences, as well as the Sibelius Academy. Kozlovski graduated with a doctorate in music in 2017 from the Docmus Doctoral School of Classical Music at the Sibelius Academy.

Kozlovski is a lecturer at the Sibelius Academy of the University of the Arts Helsinki. Kozlovski, who has released several recordings, has performed in prestigious concert halls across Europe. He has performed as a soloist and pianist in orchestras and on stages at home and abroad. Kozlovski has premiered numerous works by major Finnish composers.
