Sibelius Museum seeks an art exhibition for Summer 2027

Sibelius Museum seeks an artist or a group to create an art exhibition in the museum’s Concert Hall in the Summer 2027. The possible time period for the exhibition is 18.6.–15.8.2027, including building and taking down. The exact dates are negotiated on a case-by-case basis. The hall has ca. 27 metres of wall length to hang.

How to apply:

Write a letter of application, that includes a description of the exhibitions content and themes. You can also attach possible images of the pieces included in the exhibition. Please attach a CV or corresponding resume.

Terms:

  • The space is suitable for exhibiting paintings and photography.
  • The theme of and the works in the exhibition shall have a connection to musical subjects.
  • The Sibelius Museum offers the space and material for hanging.
  • The artist/group builds and takes down the exhibition themselves. The museum’s staff gives guidance if necessary.
