Afternoon of the Cellos
This year, the Naantali Music Festival and Arto Noras are launching an international cello masterclass. On 10 June from 10-12 and 13.30-16.30, the public will have a unique opportunity to follow the teaching of Finland’s longest-serving cello professor, the legendary Arto Noras, for one day in an international cello masterclass. The teaching day of the course will take place at the Sibelius Museum.
At the Afternoon of the cellos concert at the Sibelius Museum on 14 June at 17:00, the audience will be able to enjoy the course participants’ playing. Organised by the Sibelius Museum, the Wednesday afternoon concert will showcase the young cellists’ talents in an hour-long varied programme.
