Fredagar på Sibbe: Elia Lombardini
Elia Lombardini is a Finnish-Italian composer, musician and violinist. Elia is best known for his work in the field of Finnish alternative music. He has performed on the albums of Ruusut, Vesta and Karina and has been part of the live ensembles of The Holy, Lac Belot and Laura Moisio.
In the concert at the Sibelius Museum, Elia will interpret the themes and moods of his debut album (“In Death and the Hunger for a Thousand Lives”), released in 2022 by Left Bank Recordings, on an augmented violin. In his performances, Elia does not seek to reproduce music that has already been recorded, but to create something new and unique from its fragments.
This is Elia’s first performance in Turku.
In addition to music, Elia is inspired by installation art, all kinds of construction and processes and history.
