LempiLempi is a duo consisting of Päivi Hirvonen and Tero Pajunen. The duo performs daring interpretations of Nordic folk music and folk. Their music is characterized by strength and sensitivity, as well as stories that transport the listener from the familiar into the unknown. LempiLempi captivates with their presence, energetic and skillful musicianship and voices that touch the soul. They bring their love for folk music, and each other, to the stage.
Besides their duo and solo projects Päivi Hirvonen and Tero Pajunen are active with the orchestras Okra Playground and Lastenmusiikkiorkesteri Ammuu. Both are graduates of the Sibelius Academy and experienced music educators.
