Sibbe Atrium Live: Tytti Arola
Tytti Arola is a composer and sound artist who is interested in bringing the everyday to concert spaces, making multisensory compositions and working with spatial sound. Arola often uses electronics and field recordings in her works. More recently, she’s been excited about studying the corporeality of playing music as well as building musical instruments. Arola’s works have been performed, among others, in Helsinki Festival, Tampere Biennale, Musica Nova, Nordic Music Days, Meidän Festivaali and Flow Festival. Arola’s work is currently funded by Kone Foundation.
In her concert at the Sibelius Museum, Arola will perform music for four loudspeakers, electroacoustic compositions for violin and new electronic pieces.
