Piano recital by Elviira Väyrynen

Elviira Väyrynen is a 19-year-old pianist from Turku, who is in her final year at the Turku Conservatory of Music. Her teacher is Maria Männikkö, and she has previously been taught by Taija Talvio, Pekka Hakamäki, Essi Myöhänen, Roope Gröndahl and Kalle Perksalo. Elviira has also participated in masterclasses with Niklas Pokki, Matti Raekallio, Henri Sigfridsson, Antti Hotti, Katarina Nummi-Kuisma, Anna Laakso, Markus Ollila and Anna Kuvaja.
Elviira has been successful in the Pianoaura V, Pianoaura VI and Leevi Madetoja XII piano competitions. She was also awarded the Young Cultural Person of the Year 2022 by the City of Salo.
