Beloved indiepop favourite Vasas flora och fauna will be back in February for a five-show tour of Finland!
Loved by critics and audiences alike, the Finnish-Swedish band Vasas flora och fauna will arrive in Finland for an album release tour in February 2024. The five-day tour, which starts on Wednesday 14.2.2024 at Ritz in Vaasa, will continue on Thursday 15.2. at After Eight in Pietarsaari, Friday 16.2. at Sibelius Museum in Turku and Saturday 17.2. at G Livelab in Helsinki, ending on Sunday 18.2. at Telakka in Tampere. Tickets for the concerts will be available at the ticket outlets of each venue.
Since their debut album in 2015, Vasas flora och fauna has been one of the most exciting music phenomena in Finland and Sweden. The albums – “Släkt med Lotta Svärd”, “Veneziansk afton” and “Möte med skoggardisterna” – can be seen as modern classics created in a Swedish-Finnish context.
Vasa’s flora och fauna tells us something about the present and the history on both sides of the Gulf of Bothnia. The world created by the band is built between the narrator and the listener, with a directness unusual for this day and age.
In August 2023, Vasas flora och fauna released their latest album “Man Blåser Bort”, which has been well received in the Finnish and Swedish music media.
