Famous jazz songs such as “I’m old fashioned”, “All or nothing at all”, “Devil may care” and many others will be performed at this concert. The band will naturally play some Ukrainian songs too. Come and meet the charming voice of Mari Zhiginas!

Mari Zhiginas is Ukrainian jazz singer. Since 1998 she has been actively performing with big bands of Ukraine, performing at famous Ukrainian festivals “Koktebel – Jazz”, “Leopolis Jazz Fest”, “Jazz Delegation”. She is also the author of the vocal technique “Speaking Singing”.

Oleksiy Bogolyubov – ukrainian jazz pianist, composer, arranger and teacher. He has played with Godwin Louis(USA), Mark Gross (USA), Freddie Hendrix (USA), Leo Gendelman (Brasil), Gregory Boyd (Denmark) and many other great musicians.

Oleksandr Charkina is a trombonist from Ukraine who has collaborated and played with famous Ukrainian bands and musicians such as Dennis Adu, Denys Dudko, Okean Elzy, MONATIK, TNMK and others. Charkina has also performed on various records as a member of different bands or as a studio musician. Recently he had a successful experience working on a teaser for the Ukrainian film «У справу втручається Остап Гуляй» as a composer.

Alessandro D’Anna – From his arrival on the national scene in 2012, Alessandro made music that grew from an uncanny talent to hear the future and a headstrong desire to play it. At his young age, he already collects many important collaborations with international jazz musicians all around the world as David Kikoski, Essiet Okon Essiet, Mark Gross, Freddie Hendrix, Janusz Muniak, John Taylor, Eve Cornelious, Gregory Boyd, Abraham Burton, Rick Germanson, Benito Gonzales, Bruce Barth and many more…

Juuso Rinta is a jazz double bassist and composer based in Helsinki, Finland. He has performed with most of the top jazz musicians in Finland and has, in addition to Finland, performed around Europe in Norway, Poland, Germany, Italy, Estonia and more. In addition to Europe, Juuso has performed abroad in New York City, New Jersey and Los Angeles. He has studied jazz music at the Sibelius-Academy in Finland as well as the Manhattan School of Music in New York.

Juuso Rinta is an active and versatile performer in the Helsinki jazz scene. In addition to working as a freelance musician his playing can be heard in groups such as Anabasís, which features compositions written by Rinta as well as pianist Joonas Haavisto, Hector Lepe 4 that just recorded their first full-length album, Kadi Vija Trio, Ilmari Rönkä Ulappa, Linear John and Silva Kallionpää Quartet.

Mitya Gerasimov is an Ukrainian klezmer and jazz clarinetist, the leader of the Pushkin Klezmer Band and the founder of Kyiv Klezmer Festival.
