Sibbe Live!: The sound of the cello and Bach
The cello is regarded as a second human voice, and now it is in the hands of cellist and singer Seeli Toivio.

Seeli Toivio is a mezzosoprano, cellist, and Doctor of Music (graduated from Sibelius Academy, Helsinki, Finland). She has also studied cello at Royal Academy of Music (London, England) and at Liszt Academy (Budapest, Hungary). Seeli Toivio has won a Special Prize and was a finalist in the Toivo Kuula Singing Competition in Finland in 2021. She made her opera debut as Erda (Siegfried, Wagner) in 2022. Seeli Toivio performs regularly as mezzo soprano and cellist, in Finland and abroad. She has performed in e.g. Carnegie Hall (New York, USA), Queen Elizabeth Hall (London, UK), Musikverein (Vienna, Austria), Concertgebouw (Amsterdam, The Netherlands), Japan, South Africa, South Korea, and in many European countries. She has released two singing albums in 2020. Her voice coach is Ms. Margareta Haverinen.
